Connecting Notion

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Connect Notion so Highlight can browse and search your Notion pages and databases — bringing your notes, docs, and wikis into your workflow.

Set up the integration

  1. Open Highlight and go to Settings.

  2. In the left sidebar, under Connections, select Integrations.

  3. Under Add Integrations, find Notion and click the + button on its card.

  4. A Notion sign-in window opens. Sign in to the account you want to connect.

  5. Review the access Highlight requests, then click Approve (or Authorize).

  6. You’ll be returned to Highlight automatically. Notion now appears under Active Integrations.

During sign-in, Notion may ask you to select which pages or workspaces to share. Choose the content you want Highlight to access, then confirm.

What you can do once connected

  • Search across the pages and databases you’ve shared.

  • Reference Notion content as context for your work.

Heads up:  If your account is managed by an employer (a work or enterprise plan), an administrator may need to approve Highlight before you can connect. If you see an “approval required” message, see Integrations and Admin Approval for what to send your admin.

Manage or disconnect

Open the menu on the Notion card under Active Integrations to adjust shared pages, reconnect, or remove the integration.
