Highlight is your intelligent AI assistant. Take back your time spent on tedious tasks like taking meeting notes, composing emails, and writing documents. With Highlight, your productivity seamlessly travels with you wherever you go—so you can focus on what truly matters.

Does Highlight work on my device?

Yes. Highlight works across both Windows and Mac. Our team is fully committed to building a product that meets users wherever they’re at.

How is my data handled?

We don’t see your data. Period.

The only time your data leaves your computer is:

  • when you attach it to a cloud LLM query, or

  • if you’ve enabled task detection.

In those cases, only the cloud LLM (GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, etc.) is able to see your information.

Is Highlight SOC-2 compliant?

We are undergoing the SOC-2 process and expect to complete certification soon. (If this timeline has changed, update this answer.)

In the meantime:

  • We can supply and complete security questionnaires for enterprises interested in working with us.

  • We’ve published our policies on trust and safety (link this to your Trust & Safety page).

How is this different from ChatGPT?

Highlight is ChatGPT-level intelligence, but with the ability to understand what you’re looking at on your screen—or what you’ve said or heard on your laptop.

Think of it like ChatGPT, but without the need to ever explain yourself (plus a bunch of other cool features).

How do I use Highlight?

You can interact with Highlight using either:

  • the Overlay Assistant, or

  • Magic Dot.

Do you have a mobile app?

Not yet, but we’re working on it.
